Let’s Do This!
High adrenaline hobbies for women are also the same as high adrenaline hobbies for men. Unfortunately though, a lot of women don’t know where to look for them!
Adrenaline is a crazy thing. It is a hormone secreted by the adrenal glands, especially in conditions of stress, increasing rates of blood circulation, breathing, and carbohydrate metabolism and preparing muscles for exertion.
Obviously that is just a definition: a definition that truly doesn’t give the feeling of adrenaline rushing through your body any justice.
The feeling of adrenaline can be pure excitement at points, which explains why there are so many thrill seekers out there.
Too many people spend their lives worrying, rather than living each day as it comes.
And just an FYI for the men out there, women are thrill seekers too!
Lucky for the thrill seeking women out there, you can take a look below at three high adrenaline hobbies all women should try.
Riding A Motorcycle
There is a reason why there are so many motorcycle riders out there: driving a motorcycle is exhilarating.
If you ever meet someone who owns a motorcycle, they can go on and on about how freeing and cool it feels to be driving down the highway of a Harley Davidson, Suzuki, Ducati, et cetera.
Theresa Wallach from Easy Motorcycle Riding may have said it best when describing the thrill of being a motorist:
“You are on your own. You are not protected by two tons of steel, rubber, foam padding and safety glass. Neither are you steering two tons of guided missile toward other cars, people and property. If you are prepared to accept the responsibility of your own actions, then motorcycling can be both safe and thrilling. Riding is an art as well as a craft and no amount of explanation can take the place of experience.”
Interested yet? Good.
The only thing is that you should make sure you have the right equipment to be safe on the road. There is plenty of motorcycle gear for female riders out there, so no need to worry about that.
Skydiving
People say skydiving is not what you would expect. Instead of having that fear of heights as you are falling down towards the Earth.
Yes, that adrenaline and fear will be coursing through your veins before you jump, but after? Well, there is a reason why people keep going back to skydive.
Cage Diving With Sharks
Talk about thrill seeking, taking a dive with some great whites should be the definition of that!
If you go ahead and take on this journey, just remember, you are not endangered! Yes, you may see a shark that does it’s best Jaws impression, but there is no need to worry.
You will be inside a steel cage, with a crew above the water ready to pull you up whenever you get nervous or feel unsteady.
Plus, wouldn’t it be cool to see sharks up close and personal? Maybe not, that might differ person to person.
Bungee Jumping
Did you know that bungee jumping is considered one of the most thrilling, adventurous and high-adrenaline activities you can do?
Just like jumping out of an aeroplane, bungee jumping is exhilarating!
The thoughts go through your head…
- Will the cord break?
- Will my ankle break?
- What is the hoist that holds the cord breaks?
- Will I go too far and hit the floor/water etc.?
- Will I have a heart attack on the way down?
So many questions and fears – which are all very valid, but also very unnecessary most of the time.
Of course, if you have weak bones/ankles or a heart condition, you should check with your doctor before-hand that you are actually safe to do this activity.
The reason this activity is so thrilling, is that those fears that go through your head completely disappear when you jump!
All you can think about is the excitement coursing through your veins as you (safely) fall.
